PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a touch panel having a fingerprint identification function.SOLUTION: A touch panel having a fingerprint identification function includes a glass substrate, a fingerprint identification device, a package layer, an optical adhesive layer, and a seal layer. The glass substrate has a visible region, an invisible region, and a first plane, and has at least one groove part opened in the invisible region, and the groove part has a bottom side. The fingerprint identification device has the substrate installed in the groove part, the substrate has a first side and is provided with a silicon substrate, and both are electrically connected to each other through at least one conductor. A plurality of fingerprint identification chips are provided on one side of the silicon substrate. The package layer covers a place where the conductor, substrate, and silicon substrate are exposed, the optical adhesive layer is provided between the fingerprint identification device and the bottom side of the groove part, and the seal layer is used to seal the fingerprint identification device in the groove part of the glass substrate. Consequently, the fingerprint identification device and touch panel are integrated so as to greatly reduce the total manufacturing cost.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
