PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve both power consumption saving and cycle time reduction.SOLUTION: A laser processing system 10 includes: a laser oscillator 12; a laser beam machine 14 having a movement mechanism 48 for moving an irradiation position of a laser beam to a workpiece; a mode switching part 66 which switches an operation mode of the laser oscillator 12 between a standard standby mode and an energy-saving mode; a movement control part 76 which controls the movement mechanism 48 so as to arrange the irradiation position at a processing start point arranged in a non-product area of the workpiece; and a switch control part 74 which controls the mode switching part 66 when the irradiation position is arranged at the processing start point, and switches the operation mode from the energy-saving mode to the standard standby mode.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
