PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a medicine authentication system allowing a terminal owned by an ordinary citizen (user) to confirm a medicine.SOLUTION: A medicine authentication system 1 first uses a terminal 7 owned by a user to: take and obtain images of package identification information 31 attached to a package 3 that packages or wraps a medicine 5 and medicine identification information 51 attached to the medicine 5, and transmit to a server 9.
