PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a vibration and noise generated in association with rotation of a driving motor, while reducing the size of the device.SOLUTION: An optical scanner comprises: a light source unit 44; a rotary polygon mirror 45 that deflects a light beam emitted from the light source unit 44; fθ lenses 46 and folding mirrors 47 that guide the light beam deflected by the rotary polygon mirror 45 to photoreceptor drums 50; a driving motor 41 that drives to rotate the rotary polygon mirror 45; an optical box 49 that is attached with the light source unit 44 and accommodates therein the rotary polygon mirror 45, driving motor 41, fθ lenses 46, and folding mirrors 47; and dynamic vibration absorbers 100, 101 that are attached to the inside of the optical box 49 to suppress a vibration of the folding mirrors 47. The fθ lenses 46 and folding mirrors 47 are fixed to the bottom face of the optical box 49, and the dynamic vibration absorbers 100, 101 are arranged on the bottom face of the optical box 49 between at least two adjacent fθ lenses 46 and folding mirrors 47, of the fθ lenses 46 and folding mirrors 47 fixed to the bottom face of the optical box 49.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
