PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a configuration that can regulate a movement of a cartridge support member with a member other than an opening/closing member while the cartridge support member is withdrawn.SOLUTION: An image forming apparatus comprises: an apparatus body that includes an opening; a support member that removably supports a cartridge used to form an image on a recording material and moves in a direction connecting an internal position and an external position of the apparatus body through the opening; an opening/closing member that opens/closes the opening; and a movement regulation part that regulates the movement of the support member at the external position.
