PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus that suppresses occurrence of offset.SOLUTION: The image forming apparatus includes a developing device accommodating an electrostatic charge image developer having a toner comprising the following toner particles and an external additive. The toner particles have such properties that in an uneven distribution degree B of an island part comprising a release agent, represented by formula (1): uneven distribution degree B=2d/D (where D represents a circle-equivalent diameter (μm) of the toner particle in a cross-sectional observation of the toner particle and d represents a distance (μm) from the gravity center of the toner particle to the gravity center of an island part comprising the release agent in the cross-sectional observation of the toner particle.) The mode of a distribution of the uneven distribution degree B is 0.75 or more and 0.95 or less and the skewness of the distribution of the uneven distribution degree B is -1.10 or more and -0.50 or less. The image forming apparatus also includes a device that displaces at least one of a first member and a second member of a fixing device in a direction intersecting a conveyance direction of a recording medium.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
