PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new structure with which it is possible to detect necessary information utilizing the rotation of a gear in a cartridge for replacement use.SOLUTION: This cartridge comprises a detection gear 35, a slide member 36, an elastic member 37, and a drive gear. The detection gear 35 continuously rotates by the rotation of the drive gear. The slide member 36 is movably supported along the rotation shaft 9 of the detection gear 35. The slide member 36 is also pressed against the detection gear 35 side by the elastic member 37. One of the detection gear 35 and the slide member 36 has at least one inclined plane 52. The other of the detection gear 35 and the slide member 36 has at least one salient 40. When the detection gear 35 rotates, the inclined plane 52 and the salient 40 come into contact and the slide member 36 is thereby displaced. Therefore, the displacement of a projection 362 provided in the slide member 36 can be utilized as an object to detect.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5 |
