PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cylinder device capable of reducing its costs.SOLUTION: A spring member 120 attached to a connection part 75 of a bracket 70 with a rod 17 and energizing a cover 87 to an engagement part 65 in an engagement direction, includes: an insertion part 131 inserted into a gap 98 between the connection member 75 and a connection member 88 connecting the cover 87 and the bracket 70; a locking part 133 extending from the insertion part 131 and locking the insertion part 131 to the connection part 75, and an energization part 128 extending from the insertion part 131 and pressing the cover 87.
