Window or door frame. The door or window panel (7), such as a double glazing unit is secured to an inner section (1) by an adhesive strip (11). A supporting edge (4) projects from this section and has a length (L) which is less than the width (B) of the panel (7). On this supporting edge (4) an isolating seal (8) is positioned.
