PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tool exchanger capable of contriving to expand a life of a device and increase precision of tool exchange. SOLUTION: In a holding mechanism A fitted on a working head of an electronic parts mounter, a ball 2 which is radially movably supported by a holder 3 is pressed by a clamper 4 urged downwardly and elastically and is engaged with a holding fixing groove e of a tool 1, whereby the tool 1 is held and fixed in the holder 2. By closing shafts 6, 6, the clamper 4 is pressed up by the shaft 6 to allow radial and external movements of the ball 2 and the tool 1 can be inserted into the holder 3, or the tool 1 can be detached from the holder 3. |
