<p>FIELD: winning of nonferrous metals from secondary starting materials, specifically, mechanical method of crush of chemical sources of electric energy of types 373 and 343 of manganese-zinc system. SUBSTANCE: batteries are crushed with the aid of gear composed of split holder made up of semi-cylinders, compressing bolts holding battery, punches extruding zinc shell and graphite rod from steel case with the help of press, knives separating tar and cutting zinc shell. Process makes it feasible to win in sequence selective products which present steel and zinc scrap, graphite rods, tar and electrode mass presented by manganese dioxide and carbon black.
