HIGH SPEED ACCESS SYSTEM IN PRINTING APPARATUS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To shorten the reading time of printing data stored in a hard disk and to shorten a printing processing time as the whole of a printing apparatus. SOLUTION: At a time of non-access from a CPU to a hard disk (HDD), an I/O controller preliminarily reads data from the HDD to allow the 16-bit latch 21 for the HDD to latch the data and, when the CPU accesses the hard disk actually, the data latched by the 16-bit latch for the HDD is read.
