The invention concerns an apparatus using alternating pressure of body weight beneath the feet of a walking person to vary and multiply the moving speed. It consists of a chain of gearing elements (A, B, C, D, E, F, Z) whereof the ends bear the rear (A0) and front (ZORL) drive wheels and whereof the toothed wheels gear in pairs so as to transmit and multiply from one to the other the rotating motion, and the motor consisting of the base plate (3) which receives the shoe and pivots under body pressure from the rear forward and from one foot onto the other, racks (6) which, when lowered, actuate the elements (A), (B), (C) via auxiliary gear elements (α) and (β) mounted on free wheels and reinforced with crank rod systems (10)-(β 4RL), racks (7) which actuate, when raised, with free wheel pinion means, the gear elements (A), (B), (C), (D), and springs or shock-absorbers (5) fixed on the frame (9) which raise the base plate when the weight pressure shifts from one side to the other. The inventive apparatus is particularly designed to widen the range of transport means and for sports, playing and leisure activities.
|
