PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prepare a foamy cosmetic capable of sufficiently utilizing heat of hydration, not containing water or hardly containing water, but containing a polyhydric alcohol generating heat of hydration. SOLUTION: The foamy cosmetic comprises (1) 50-94 wt.% one or more kinds of compounds selected from polyethylene glycols and glycerol which are liquid at 25°C and 1 atmospheric pressure, (2) 0.1-10 wt.% one or more kinds of fatty acid esters of polyglycelols having 2-5 polymerization degree in which number of free hydroxy groups is equal to or larger than number of esterified hydroxy groups in an average esterification degree and (3) 0.1-40 wt.% liquid oil or fat which is liquid at 25°C and 1 atmospheric pressure.
