<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem wherein each lane is difficult to be discriminated to generate accurately lane information, in a road with the plurality of existing lanes. <P>SOLUTION: This road information generation method acquires own vehicle position information indicating a position of an own vehicle, acquires image information including the road with the own vehicle traveling thereon, detects the own vehicle traveling lane traveling thereon, based on the image information, generates lane information indicating the position of the own vehicle travel lane, based on the own vehicle position information, and registers the lane information into a storage medium. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
