A video conference server apparatus based on FTTH providing a video conference service on network is provided to allow a user to mix image into multichannel codec and limit the number of users without high performance MCU. An optical Ethernet connection unit(20) is directly connected to FTTH optical subscriber network(10). An extra Ethernet connection unit(40) connects to IP network(30). An A/V output unit(70) outputs video signal and audio signal to a monitor(72) and a speaker(74). An A/V inputting unit(80) inputs video signal and audio signal through an external camera and a microphone(82). A multi codec(60) inputs voice and image data through the optical Ethernet connection unit. A multi-channel codec outputs the video signal and the audio signal to the A/V output unit.
