<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide piezoelectric ceramics hardly causing a domain switching by stress from outside, a piezoelectric actuator restrained from driving degradation, and a liquid discharge head. <P>SOLUTION: The main crystal particle of the piezoelectric ceramics 1 is comprised of a PZT phase 2 including zirconia 3a. In addition, the piezoelectric ceramics 1 preferably include the zirconia 3a of not less than 0.01% by volume. Further, the piezoelectric ceramics 1 preferably have a D1/D2 ratio of 0.016-0.07, wherein D1 is the average particle diameter of the zirconia 3a and D2 is the average particle diameter of the PZT phase 2. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
