<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical information recording device, an optical pickup, an optical information recording method, and an optical information recording medium enabling reduction in a load of servo control. <P>SOLUTION: A blue light beam Lb1 is condensed and irradiated on an optical disk 100, a focal point Fb1 is moved so that the focal point Fb1 of the blue light beam Lb1 is positioned, with a target depth at which a recording mark RM is to be formed, at a target track where the recording mark RM is to be formed, a blue light beam Lb2 is condensed so that a beam waist diameter S2 as a light flux diameter at a focal point Fb2 is larger than a beam waist diameter S1 by lessening a second converging angle α2 formed between an optical axis Lx2 and a contour Lo2 of the blue light beam Lb2 when irradiated on the optical disk 100 more than a first converging angle α1 formed between an optical axis Lx1 and a contour Lo1 of the blue light beam Lb1 when irradiated on the optical disk 100, thus irradiating the optical disk 100, and the focal point Fb2 is moved so as to irradiate the target track with the blue light beam Lb2 while matching the focal point Fb2 to the target depth. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
