PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a probe aperture forming device capable of forming a minute aperture on a probe tip. SOLUTION: The probe aperture forming device forms the aperture by bringing a pressure impressing member in contact with a tip of the probe 13 having an optical wave guide with a sharpened tip, and a light shielding coat layer covering the optical wave guide, and plastically deforming the light shielding coat layer of the probe tip.
