PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat shield member for a heater capable of being easily and inexpensively formed into the specified shape corresponding to a state of a place where the heater such as a wood stove is installed, having a decorative part on a plate material to provide a specific design, and further arbitrarily changing the design on the basis of the combination of the plate materials. SOLUTION: This heat shield member mounted at a lower part or around the heater 1 without being directly fixed to a building to shield the heat from the heater 1, is composed of the plurality of plate materials 2 and connecting members 3 for connecting the plate materials 2, the decorative part 4 having specific color and design is formed on surfaces of the plate materials 2, and the plate materials 2 are connected by the connecting member 3 to be formed into the specific shape.
