PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stone masonry structure with high quake proofing by fitting stone materials to each other or stone materials to the other objects through recessed and projected faces, burying metal pins in holes formed in any of the recessed and projected faces substantially vertically to the joining face thereof, and filling a waterproof filler in clearances between the joining faces. SOLUTION: This stone masonry structure 20 is formed by joining the stone materials 1 and 2 to each other or the stone materials to the other objects. The stone materials 1 and 2 are fitted to each other or the stone materials are fitted to the other objects through the recessed and projected faces 3 and 4. The holes 10 and 11 are formed in any of the recessed and projected faces 3 and 4 substantially vertical to the joining faces thereof, and the metal pins 5 are buried in the holes, and the waterproof filler 6 is filled in the clearances between the joining faces.
