<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical pickup device having an objective lens capable of condensing a laser beam to signal recording layer provided in an optical disk of different standard. <P>SOLUTION: The objective lens 10 is concentrically divided into three areas; an inner lens area 10A, an intermediate lens area 10B, and an outer lens area 10C, toward the outer direction from the optical axis center. The laser beam is condensed as a recording and reproducing spot to an information recording layer of a first optical disk by a condensing operation of the inner lens area 10A and the outer lens area 10C and the laser beam is condensed as a regenerating spot to the signal recording layer of a second optical disk by the condensing operation of the intermediate lens area 10B. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
