The plate (1) has an outer face (11) equipped with wings (3) that cooperate with wings of outside of the adjacent plate of a fuel cell to form a guiding channel for a coolant. The wings are parallel to a direction of circulation of coolant between the adjacent plates. The wings form projecting ribs on an outside of the plate, and extend on a part of the plate between an inlet side (E) and an outlet side (S). The wings present notches (4) that create turbulence during flow of the coolant.
