The assembly (1) has a vibration damper (40) i.e. double damping flywheel, for damping transmission of movement between an input flywheel (42) and an output fly-wheel (48). A frictional double clutch (10) i.e. normal open type double disc dry clutch, transmits a torque between a plate (36) and output shafts (16, 18). A torque transmission unit (60) mechanically couples the output flywheel and the plate, and includes an absorption unit e.g. annulus gear (62) and a pinion, for absorbing axial and angular tolerances, where the gear is associated with a damping device e.g. spring.
