摘要 <p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide: a nano-carbon emitter excellent in electron emitting capacity, uniformity and stability; a method of manufacturing the nano-carbon emitter manufacturable by a simple process of high controllability; and a surface light emitting device having high luminance, high uniformity and high reliability, by applying the nano-carbon emitter. <P>SOLUTION: The nano-carbon emitter 1 is composed of a base body 2, a conductive layer 3 formed on the base body 2, and a nano-carbon material complex 4 formed on the conductive layer 3. The nano-carbon material complex 4 is configured by forming a nano-carbon material 6 on conductive particles 5 directly or via a metal or a metallic compound.
