PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a more efficient method for reducing a burden on a publisher by making a routing judgement and determining the time when an event fulfills a subscription. SOLUTION: The present method for transmitting predicates in a publish-subscribe network includes receiving a representation including Boolean-values predicates associated with the subscriptions; then encoding the relevant representation into a message for transmission in the network to be used for content-based routing; and further transmitting the message to at least one router in a network core for applying content-based routing to the subscriptions.
