PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a game machine capable of enhancing the amusement of the game presentation by changing the game presentation to another kind of presentation different from advance notice presentation. SOLUTION: The game machine has a display control means. The display control means executes door presentation to conceal the variable display of symbols in a symbol variation game for a prescribed period of time if symbols indicating the result of the symbol variation game are not of a specific kind when a prescribed variation pattern is determined, and executes background changing presentation suggesting the possibility of making a jackpot in the symbol variation game after termination of the door presentation. The display control means executes the door presentation if the prescribed variation pattern corresponds to a jackpot and if the symbols are of the specific kind, and executes announcement presentation to announce generation of a probability increasing game state after termination of the door presentation.
