A technique for establishing an NSIS signaling path even if a non-NSIS-aware NAT is present in the path by extending the functions of the NSIS layer without requiring the non NSIS-aware NAT to have a special function is provided. According to the technique, provided are a step of allowing a mobile terminal (100) to send a signaling message including predetermined information for establishing a signaling path to a communication terminal (104) and a step of allowing a rely node (105) having received the signaling message in a first network (103) to implement processing of establishing a signaling path according to the predetermined information included in the received signaling message.
