PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a vehicle occupant from being given any uncomfortable feeling by stabilizing the behavior of a vehicle when performing auto-cruise control on the vehicle loaded with an engine with a supercharger and an automatic transmission. SOLUTION: This constant speed traveling device of a vehicle is configured of: a first target opening setting means 23 for setting a first target opening T<SB>1</SB>of the throttle valve of an engine 12 with an over-charger 11 based on an actual speed V<SB>A</SB>and an auto-cruise setting speed V<SB>S</SB>; a change tendency decision means 24 for deciding whether or not the first target opening T<SB>1</SB>has increasing tendency, decreasing tendency or holding tendency; an opening correction means 25 for correcting the first target opening T<SB>1</SB>in accordance with an engine revolving speed N<SB>E</SB>and the decision result of the change tendency decision means 24, and for setting it to the second target opening T<SB>2</SB>of the throttle valve of the engine 12; a throttle valve control means 16 for controlling the throttle valve according to the second target opening T<SB>2</SB>; and a shift control means 17 for controlling the automatic transmission 13 based on the actual speed V<SB>A</SB>and the second target opening T<SB>2</SB>.
