METHOD FOR DETECTING PHENOMENON LIMITING VISIBILITY OF MOTOR VEHICLE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and a device for detecting a phenomenon limiting visibility for a motor vehicle.

SOLUTION: The method comprises: a step for determining at least one point of interest in an image captured of the environment of the vehicle (CALC_H(I)); a step for determining a region of interest in the image (CALC_ROI(I)); a step for determining a graph of different levels of gray on the basis of the region of interest (CALC_CL(ROI)); and a step for determining an area in the graph of different levels of gray in association with the point of interest (CALC_A(CL, H)).
