摘要 A display device includes a display panel and a touch panel. The touch panel calculates coordinate information of an input position by an electrostatic capacitive method in a first mode and calculates the coordinate information of the input position by an electromagnetic induction method in a second mode. The touch panel includes scan line groups and source line groups, which are operated as touch electrodes or touch coils on the basis of the operating mode thereof. In addition, the touch panel includes touch electrodes and touch coils, which are individually operated on the basis of the operating mode thereof.

A display device, comprising: a display panel comprising a first display substrate and a second display substrate facing the first substrate, the display panel being divided into a blocking area and a plurality of transmitting areas; and a touch panel comprising a first conductive layer and a second conductive layer insulated from the first conductive layer, the touch panel being disposed on one of the first display substrate or the second display substrate that is provided with an input surface, the touch panel comprising: a plurality of first touch electrodes configured to receive first scan signals;a plurality of second touch electrodes crossing the first touch electrodes and configured to provide first sensing signals according to a variation in capacitance;a plurality of first touch coils overlapping with the blocking area and configured to receive second scan signals; anda plurality of second touch coils overlapped with the blocking area and crossing the first touch coils and the first touch electrodes, the plurality of second touch coils being configured to provide second sensing signals according to a resonant frequency associated with an input device, wherein the first conductive layer comprises the first touch electrodes and one of the second touch electrodes and the first touch coils, and wherein the second conductive layer comprises the second touch coils and the other one of the second touch electrodes and the first touch coils.
