PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing an organic resin particle where the organic resin particle having a narrow particle size distribution and a good environmental property can be obtained by using a dispersion stabilizer for suspension polymerization capable of improving the dispersion stability of the droplet of a polymerizable monomer composition in suspension polymerization.SOLUTION: In a method for producing an organic resin particle, a hydrophobic spherical silica particle is dispersed in an aqueous medium under the existence of a hydrophilic organic compound and a monomer composition containing a polymerizable monomer is dispersed under the existence of a dispersion stabilizer for suspension polymerization and then the suspension polymerization is achieved. The silica particle is produced by the method including: (A1) a step to obtain a hydrophilic spherical silica particle substantially consisting of an SiOunit; (A2) a step to introduce an RSiOunit on the surface of the hydrophilic spherical silica particle; and (A3) a step to introduce an RSiOunit. The hydrophobic spherical silica particle has a particle diameter of 0.005-1.0 μm, a particle size distribution D90/D10 of 3 or less and an average circularity of 0.8-1. |
