PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To manufacture a casting mold without condensed water being left as moisture within the mold.SOLUTION: The casting mold is manufactured by charging binder-coated refractory 2 including refractory aggregate coated with a binder into a molding die 1, blowing steam into the molding die 1 to heat the refractory 2 by evaporation latent heat of the steam, and solidifying or hardening the binder. After the refractory 2 is heated by blowing steam into the molding die 1, dry gas is blown into the molding die 1. Even if condensed water is left in the molding die 1, the condensed water can be vaporized into dry air and discharged out of the die 1. Thus, the condensed water can be prevented from being left as moisture in the mold. |
