PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control apparatus or the like, configured to prevent backup failure, while reducing cost.SOLUTION: A control apparatus includes: monitoring means which receives a notification including information on backup error from an information processing apparatus configured to back up data in a first storage device; analyzing means which executes fault analysis for detecting backup error and identifying whether the error is caused by a fault of the first storage device, on the basis of the notification; and execution means which transmits an identifier of a second storage device which can communicate with the information processing apparatus, as an identifier of a backup destination, when the error is caused by the fault of the first storage device, to the information processing apparatus that backs up data in a storage device to be identified by a backup destination identifier, on receipt of the backup destination identifier.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 7 |
