PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystal display device in which the deterioration in display quality is prevented by improving the transmission of pixels.SOLUTION: The liquid crystal display device comprises a first insulating substrate, a gate line, a data line insulated from and intersecting with the gate line, a thin film transistor connected to the gate line and the data line, a pixel electrode including a first sub-pixel electrode and a second sub-pixel electrode connected to the thin film transistor, a second insulating substrate provided opposite to the first insulating substrate, a common electrode disposed on the second insulating substrate, and a liquid crystal layer including a plurality of liquid crystal molecules and located between the first insulating substrate and the second insulating substrate. Each of the first sub-pixel electrode and the second sub-pixel electrode includes one unit pixel electrode including a plurality of microscopic branch portions extending from one horizontal stem portion or one vertical stem portion.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
