<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a phase transition type optical recording medium free from the occurrence of noise such as jitter to low output light of a short wavelength such as a blue laser, having excellent O/W characteristics and satisfactory archival characteristics and realizing high density recording. <P>SOLUTION: The phase transition type optical recording medium is constituted of at least a first recording structure layer, a resin intermediate layer and a second recording structure layer which are successively provided on a substrate. The first recording structure layer is constituted of at least a reflection layer, a first interface layer, a first protective layer, a first recording layer and a second protective layer successively from the substrate side and the second recoding structure layer is constituted of at least a third protective layer, an Ag or Ag alloy layer, a second interface layer, a fourth protective layer, a second recording layer and a fifth protective layer successively from the resin intermediate layer side. The third protective layer consists of ITO or IZO, the first recording layer and the second recording layer contain at least SbTe and the first and the second interface layers consist of a mixture of oxides and carbides of Ti and Si. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
