METHOD, DEVICE AND SYSTEM FOR SWITCHING COMMUNICATION PATH OF PROXIMITY SERVICE

Provided in an embodiment of the present invention are a method, device and system for switching a communication path of a proximity service (ProSe). The method for switching the communication path of the ProSe comprises: determining that two user equipment (UE) performing a ProSe communication are in a preset ProSe communication range, the ProSe communication being initiated in a first communication path by a ProSe application of any one of the two UE; respectively transmitting a communication path switching instruction to each UE of the two UE, the communication path switching instruction comprising an identifier of the ProSe application and an identifier of an application layer of a peer UE performing the ProSe communication with the UE receiving the communication path switching instruction; transmitting a communication path switching request to a policy and charging rule function (PCRF) device, the communication path switching request comprising the identifier of the ProSe application and the identifier of the application layer of the two UE. The embodiment of the present invention can improve a resource utilization rate and address a problem of resource waste.
