A charging method and device, which is applied to a chargeable terminal, the method comprising: monitoring a sound signal of an environment in which a terminal is located; comparing a sound pressure level of the monitored sound signal with a threshold value; and when the sound pressure level of the monitored sound signal is greater than the threshold value, collecting the sound signal of the environment in which the terminal is located, performing acoustoelectric conversion and charging a battery with generated electrical energy. By means of the above-mentioned technical solution, sounds can be used to charge a terminal, thereby prolonging the standby time of the terminal. |
