PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a toner binder and toner that achieve low-temperature fixability, glossiness, and hot offset resistance, and satisfy all of fluidity, heat-resistant storage property, charge stability, and crushability of the toner, image strength, bending resistance, and document offset resistance.SOLUTION: There is used a toner binder that contains a polyester resin (A) including a carboxylic acid component (x), alcohol compound (y), and oxazoline compound (a) as constituent raw materials, has at least one point of inflection indicating a glass transition temperature (Tg) within a temperature range of -20°C to 80°C in a chart obtained by differential scanning calorimetry (DSC), has an amide group concentration of 0.07-3.00 mmol/g, and contains a surfactant in an amount of 100 ppm or less.SELECTED DRAWING: None |
