The positive displacement cooling medium compressor incorporates a rotary slider suction device having cylinder blocks (1, 2) with a number of cylinder bores. A chamber is provided to receive the cooling medium gas before compression, and rotary slide elements (27, 28) are mounted on the drive shaft (7). The elements are rotatable with the drive shaft and have suction channels forming a connection between the reception chamber and the compression chamber. The gas is drawn into the compression chamber during the rotary movement of the slider element. USE/ADVANTAGE - Swashplate compressor which creates greater volumetric efficiency during the compression of the gas.
