The catheter has at least one annular or helical transverse groove (5) in its outer wall (1). To the groove is connected at least one outlet duct (6) for guiding the urine collected in the groove(s). In front of the groove(s) in the urine flow sense, the catheter pref. has a section rinsed by the flowing urine. The outlet duct(s) may extend in parallel to the catheter wall. Each separate groove has its own corresponding outlet duct. ADVANTAGE - Simple urine outflow and collecting, with tissue protection.
