<p>PURPOSE:To provide a new anti-HIV agent containing a phosphodiester bond- type oligodeoxynucleotide expressed by the specific formulae as an active component and effective for the treatment of diseases, AIDS and ARC caused by HIV (AIDS virus). CONSTITUTION:This anti-HIV agent contains, as active components, one or more compounds selected from phosphodiester bond-type oligodeoxynucleotide expressed by the formula I to formula VII (G is 2'-deoxyguanosine structure; p is a phosphoric acid residue forming an ester bond with adjacent G; each p positioned between two G groups forms an ester bond with the left-side G through the 3'-OH group and with the right-side G through the 5'-OH group). It can be produced, e.g. by using a supporting material bonded with a nucleic acid monomer having protected functional groups as a raw material, successively bonding amino groups, etc., to the material, removing the protecting groups from the obtained crude oligodeoxynucleotide and subjecting the product to purification, etc.</p> |
