<p>PURPOSE:To provide a disk brake device capable of preventing a local temperature rise in a contact surface of a disk rotor with a brake pad by making the brake pad and a piston follow-up corresponding to deformation of the disk rotor. CONSTITUTION:In a disk brake device 44, a clearance between cylinders 12, 14 and pistons 16, 18 respectively arranged in these cylinders in a diametric direction of a disk rotor 10 is formed in a closing side larger than in an opening side of the cylinders 12, 14, so that the piston 16 is made tiltable in a diametric direction of the disk rotor 10. Consequently, relating to deformation of the disk rotor 10, brake pads 20, 26 and the pistons 16, 18 can be made to follow-up. Accordingly, nonuniform contact and a local temperature rise in a contact surface, of the disk rotor 10 with the brake pads 20, 26, are prevented.</p> |
