摘要 <p>PURPOSE:To regulate a range in which a head lamp illuminates strongly in accordance with a vehicle speed by providing an actuator to adjust an optical axis of the head lamp, a speed sensor to detect the vehicle speed, and a control means to adjust the optical axis of the head lamp in accordance with the detected vehicle speed. CONSTITUTION:A control unit 3 is changeable between a manual change mode in which an optical axis is adjusted to an angle commanded in four stages of 0, 1, 2, 3 by a signal from a mode changing switch 4 when operated manually, and an auto-mode in which the optical axis is automatically controlled in accordance with a vehicle speed. For automatically controlling the optical axis in accordance with the vehicle speed, the control unit 3 inputs a signal from a speed sensor 5 which detects the vehicle speed. The angle of the optical axis set steplessly in accordance with the vehicle speed based on a preliminarily set map is calculated, and actuators 1, 2 are given to provide the calculated angle of the optical axis.</p>
