PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To clean a screen for discharging a fluid for filling by flexing the screen when particles are accumulated thereon and passing the particles therethrough to clean the screen. SOLUTION: The screen 72 (comprising an etched porous plate having a single continuous and, meandering stainless steel strand 74 or plural breaked flexible segments) is attached to the discharge end 70 of a discharging nozzle 48 of the fluid stream apparatus. The screen 72 retains a fixed volume of the fluid thereabove until the fluid is passed under pressure through clearances between the strands 74 or the segments adjacent to the porous plate, and is flexed resilently downward when the particles are accumulated thereon, to enlarge the clearances by this procedure the particles are passed through to prevent clogging.
