Support element for the moving part of a railway switch

A support element (22, 24) for the moving part of a railway switch is proposed, in particular frog block (20) of a spring-movable frog, to which rail sections such as guard rails (16, 18), which start from a plate such as a ribbed plate, are assigned. In order to compensate manufacturing tolerances and in order to achieve a noise reduction, the support element (22, 24) consists of a material which has a load-dependent spring stiffness in such a manner that there is a small spring stiffness in the case of static loading and a great spring stiffness in the case of dynamic loading.
