PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a content distribution technology which takes illegal copying prevention into consideration.

SOLUTION: After digital contents are loaded into an information terminal such as a PC 4, ID information that is unique to a viewer or a user of the PC 4 is embedded in the contents. The ID information is embedded in a predetermined location of the contents. It may be embedded in the entire contents in a form of a spatial frequency. Then, the contents in which the ID has been embedded can be used in the terminal.
