PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a packaging box which is easily assembled by a simple operation without using any adhesive, staple or adhesive tape, and capable of reliably maintaining engagement of flaps. SOLUTION: In the packaging box, an upper face is closed by side upper flaps 6a and 6b and end upper flaps 7 and 7. The side upper flaps 6a and 6b are folded toward the upper face side of the box from folding lines thereof so that edges thereof are in a vertically overlapping position when the upper face of the box is closed. A pair of cuts 8 and 8 parallel to the folding line with a side panel side are formed in a center part of the edge of one side upper flap 6b, and the cuts 8 and 8 are located between the edges of the end upper flaps 7 and 7 folded to the upper face side of the box. The side upper flap 6a, the end upper flaps 7 and 7 and the side upper flap 6b with the cuts 8 and 8 formed therein are folded in this order and overlap on the upper face side of the box, and a portion between the cuts 8 and 8 of the side upper flap 6b on the upper side is inserted below the edge of the side upper flap 6a on the lower side, and fixed thereto.
