PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a resin composition and a prepreg, capable of providing a laminated sheet having excellent flame retardancy and processability without using a halogen-containing compound; and to provide the laminated sheet using the resin composition or the prepreg. SOLUTION: The resin composition used for forming a sheet-shaped prepreg by impregnating a base material with the resin composition comprises a thermosetting resin, a metal hydroxide and zinc borate.
