FLAME-RESISTANT FABRIC AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water-repellent sheet composed of flame-resistant fibers having excellent handleability and flame retardance without emitting toxic gases. SOLUTION: The water-repellent and flame-resistant fabric has≥100°contact angle with water. A method for producing the water-repellent and flame-resistant fabric is carried out by forming the fabric from the flame-resistant fibers and then applying a water repellent treating agent thereto. A method for producing the water-repellent and flame-resistant fabric comprising applying the water repellent treating agent to the flame-resistant fibers and forming the fabric from the resultant water repellent-treated flame-resistant fibers is provided.
